Our class had a great time presenting our final work assembly of topics we have covered over the last 8 weeks. All the team were well organised and prepared their work carefully. Over the year I have tried to let the children "run" their assembly. As a final assembly for this year and cribbing a little idea from Mr Swallow we decided that I would become a member of the audience and the children would do all of the assembly. We nominated a Narrator (Charlotte) and then group by group we ploughed through chunks of the work created. It was fabulous to see as you could see the change in all of the children: confidence, audibility, and no fuss smooth transition.
All of the children have come a long way through the year. A very proud moment.
